Bueno utilizes Microsoft’s Active X technology, which only requires an Internet Explorer plugin to be downloaded before using this service. Other browsers, such as Firefox, Opera, or Safari do not support Active X and can’t be used. We don’t have the sip settings for Beuno as of yet. Please comment about quality.

  Finally, VOIP in India is legal. Telecom Regulatory Authority of India ( TRAI ) has removed all restrictions on Internet telephony. Read the official press release Date- August 18, 2008 Press Release-Restrictions on Internet telephony removed by TRAI recommend.

So, with this a lot of ISP can offer VOIP services. International calling price can go down to 50 paisa or 1.2 cents. Some of the big players can also offer ad based calling to India. Calls to India can also included in the free calling countries offered by Betamax Group like Intervoip, SMSdiscount, VoipRaider, VoipCheap etc.

Government will start providing Licenses to ISP and Telecom operators. This should be take effect by end of this year or first half of 2009.
